The Jaguar engine lineup is about to get a extra motivating with the addition of a pair of forced-induction power plants. The engines, publicized in time for this week's Beijing Motor Show, will be mated to proficient eight-speed ZF transmissions.
The extra powerful of the two is a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 manufacture 340 horsepower or 380 hp, depending on the design. The aluminum V6 is resulting from Jaguar's 5.0-liter V8 and it includes quad cams, direct injection and a Roots-type twin vortex supercharger with a water-cooled intercooler. Jaguar will also presents the 240-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four that's previously offered in the Range Rover Evoque. Jaguar hasn't published which car will take delivery of the efficient 2.0 turbo, but the new F-Type appears a good gamble.
