There is no Britain, without car manufacturers, even if they are all foreign-owned, but Mini definitely ranks among the most essentially British of them all. Leading automaker BMW has cashed in on this with an achievement of special editions that celebrate its Anglophilia.
The newest are the Hyde Park and Green Park versions. The Hyde Park version comes in off-white with brown tidy which is called as Hot Chocolate. on the roof, mirror caps and stripes. The Green Park version has green trim (British Racing Green, naturally) to difference with the same Pepper White body shade.
Owners putting down their deposits for a special new Mini can opt for two body styles (rear door and Clubman wagon) and 4 engines: 122-horsepower Cooper, 184hp Cooper S, 112hp diesel Cooper D and 143hp diesel Cooper SD.
